Let me rant about a fact of life.
It’s not gonna do anything, nor is it gonna make the world a better place, but I just want to voice out some of the “disadvantages” that I have experienced with the life I chose. I was warned about this. And now I am literally paying the price (pun unintended) for choosing my happiness over being a part of what I call the traditional employment ecosystem.
Bakit ko ba ‘to ginagawa?
Ginagawa mo yan dahil:
I wonder if there’s any coincidental connection of having a “Quarter Life Crisis” to the infamous idea of “flipping a quarter”…
1. Fifty-fifty chance = When you reach 25, it’s either you should commend yourself for accomplishing so many things up to this point in your life (young gifted children, youtube sensations, overnight superstars, inspiring entrepreneurs, award-winners, child stars,…
Years ago, someone gave me a little happy meal (without the meal) bear that was tied to his jersey shorts because he did not have any pockets.
There were times when I got Hello Pandas and hallmark cards too.
He also wrote me weird, funny, personalized…
There are dragons above us
don’t you hear the wind?
They are flapping their wings
trying to say hello
but all we do is hide inside
so back to their world they go.
Are we sure that they don’t exist
maybe they are just shy
so up above the clouds they fly,
I was made to be rotten.
To collect but never give,
To fool is how I live
all to make you believe.
You will wait forever
because it will never come
The coin is not the catch
Your wish will not be done.
The most important step

I’m making a series of poems, this is the first one. Will repost/post the others soon. Hope you enjoy.
The Quicksand Surfer
I’ve braved a thousand deserts
but the best is yet to come
the sandstorm cup was a breeze
the shiny hail trophy was won.
The cactus course went smoothly,
the Race at the Ruins was owned,
And all that’s left is one prize,
the Quicksand marathon Gold.
No one ever dared to join
because no one ever lasts
as soon as they step in,
they sink in deep real fast.
This one chance to be a legend
I cannot forego,
I joined without a rival
to give them a good show.
At first it was fine,
despite all the sticky grime
but then I sunk bit by bit
until I cried “I quit”.
All they did was stare,
and all I did was weep
For tonight, the losers win
as they watch me go down deep.
Na-inspire…
It’s 6 in the morning and I really have nothing important to do today, so why the hell am I wide awake, hyped up and already having breakfast like an everyday working class citizen?
It’s probably because I just finally want to settle all these pent-up,…
I have recently discovered that our broadband is actually capable of streaming long-ass movies given these following conditions:
1. No one else must be using the internet.
2. It should probably be around daytime, because everyone’s at home in the evening…
